War of the Words
Once again learners at Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan have been successful in their entry to another poetry competition.
Their poems on the theme of conflict were included in an anthology entitled ‘War Of Words’. The pupils were motivated to write about conflict ranging from military conflict to personal conflict. Their talent has been showcased to illustrate the range of creative talents in the school.
Headteacher Lee Cummins said 'Another example of the fantastic work produced by the learners at Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan. We are a school where learners are encouraged to Dare to Achieve and this is yet another example of this. We look forward to reading more published work from our learners.'
